Okay, so my toilet has be backed up for a while. It won't flush in need overflowing. There must be something in near but I've plungered it countless times with no response. I assume it's a combination of too much water surrounded by it and the water is draining super slow. What do I do? Can I use matching stuff you use on backed up sinks? If not, what can I use? Thank you so much!
Answers: Do NOT use chemicals such as Drano contained by a toilet. they get markedly hot and can crack the bowl. I would suggest trying a Closet Auger first (you can rent or buy these). they clean out the bowls trap short scratching. If that doesn't work, you will want to remove the toilet and snake the drainline.
No, you can't use drain cleaners on toilets and the packages even state as much.
