I need to put a "p-trap" contained by our washing apparatus drainage line.I be wondering if it mattered where on earth i put it?? Does it have to be right practical the washing contrivance drain pipe where it enter our basement or can i put the trap on down farther contained by the middle of the drain pipe before it meet the main sewer drain contained by the basement?
The drive i'm asking is that it looks like it would be easier for me to put it right surrounded by the center of the pipe where theres room to work instead of putting it right where on earth the washing tool drain pipe enters the subterranean vault. Can i put it anywhere? Thanks.
Answers: put it anywhere, but use a union trap , not a gum trap so you can take it apart if you ever enjoy to
You can put it anywhere but you also may want to put in a cleanout subdivision fitting by the washer drain in satchel you need to verbs out or snake the pipe from the washer to the trap. Any standing water contained by the pipe before the trap may nouns up with soap picture or lint so make sure it's get a good slope to it.
