The electric plugs in my bathrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) don't work, all of a sudden. The lights within these bathrooms work. The electric plugs in the rest of the house work fine. What could be the problem? I checked the fuse board turning everything off consequently back on, but it didn't help. I want to know if I can fix this myself formerly I have to call within an electrician, whom I might not be able to afford anyway.
It's probably a gfci plug within...it has a reset button on it and all you enjoy to do is push in and reset it.sometimes they have tripped the breaker at your electrical panel..and it won't look tripped so trip them adjectives the way to the left and after back to the right..good luck. Something loose somewhere..Check and tighten every entry that went out(and any nearby outlets). The moron who wired your house daisy chain to save a few bucks on wire.
This could be as simple as resetting your GFI plugs. I don't know the age of your home, but these plugs have 2 little buttons located in the middle, on the front. These plugs are mostly put in bathrooms, kitchens and your out side plugs check to see if one of the buttons have popped up and simply press within. I'd check all these plugs , also outside and reset , if needed. This could save you the cost of an electrician. It could pocket some tracing to locate ,you know, removing the plugs and throwing a meter on the wires to see where exactly your loosing voltage.Sounds like possibly a wire came loose from a breaker,or a GFCI receptacle is too blame.Reset them adjectives before you call an electrician.
Answers: It's probably a GFI.
Look for all the plugs surrounded by your bathroom and find one that has two buttons. One is a test and one is a reset. It's on the plug itself. Push the reset one within all the way. I don`t know with your finger nail.
It probably connects to adjectives 3.
Send me $200, if I'm right... then find the curling iron or hair dryer that cause them to blow.
Since you said "fuse board" instead of "fuse box" maybe you are in Europe. So distribute me lb100.
