I got granite counters installed saturday and everywhere the paste was put is showing through the top as dimness spots. The guy who did it said to allow a few days to dry since the stone got drizzling in the precipitation. Has anyone ever heard of this scheduled or seen it? Is it true or what else can hold happened, too much gum?

Answers:    Sounds like he may hold used the wrong glue. Granite can be slightly translucent, and MUST be installed next to CLEAR silicone. This will adhere the surface, as okay as allow slight natural movement of the top. A bonus is that it is invisible.
