Con: They are a lot more expensive to buy than a standard hose down heater
Pro: They solely heat the dampen as you use it, thus saving you lots of heat costs in the long run (and if you buy the right model, it's going on for a $50 tax credit subsequent April)
Answers: The biggest positive is not heating dampen when it's not needed. This however is also a con if within an emergency situation. If you lose your power with a hot wet tank - you will still enjoy hot water for a while - up to a afternoon I've had it contained by such situations. However, if you have a generator you don't enjoy to worry in the region of this w/ a tank smaller amount (or tank). You still need power for a cistern less electric fire to work. Even in a power outage, instinctive gas is most likely still available as in good health as propane. Overall, I would prefer a tank smaller amount for the energy money.
Good luck.
pros.......... all the hot hose you need, when you entail it............. $300 energy export tax savings subsequent year.
