If the circulation pump is not working, can you still gain hot water within your unit? I guess what I'm asking is this. What is the ramification if the circulation pump is out of commission? What is the ramification if the boiler pump is not working? What is the ramification if both of them are out of commission? My landlord have told me that they were both broken but I still go and get hot water inside my section.
Answers:    You are getting hot water because the hose side is getting pressure from the city/town cold water pressure. A circulator with the sole purpose supplies the pressure to pump water throuh the heat sysstem which is not pressured by the city/town main. I don't know what you stingy about a boiler pump. Usually surrounded by a hot water heat system the water to the radiators is supplied by a circulator.
Have never hear of a boiler pump but if you are living in an apartment house they use circulation pumps to circulate the wet through the entire building. This way when you turn on a hot wet faucet you get hot hose down now and not I don`t know 3 gallons later, if you know what I show. All hotels use this system to save on river bills. It could also be the term "boiler pump" is man used with a hot hose down heating system to relate the difference between a domestic hot water stove and a hot water heat system.
