Can my history textbook be save? So it was raining the other light of day when I arrived...

So it was raining the other light of day when I arrived at school. As I be getting out of the car and grab my history textbook, it slipped out of my hands (damn those required stretchy book covers!) and fell, obverse down, pages open, into the wet asphalt, and give or take a few 5 pages get wet.

The book have since dried out, and the damaged page basically look resembling they have profoundly of creases. None of the ink is smeared or anything like that, but I'm worried the conservatory library will charge me a water destroy fee, and possibly put together me replace the book (my school's librarians are really really anal about things similar to this) Its like a $100 textbook, so I'm for a moment worried.

My question is, is here any treatment or technique you guys can think of to repair the page?

(I've included a link to a picture I took of section of the most damaged page to confer you all an belief of what I'm up against. Any help will be greatly appreciated)

Answers:    Ironing the pages is probably going to be the best item to fix this. However, do NOT place the iron directly onto the pages. Use a cloth to protect the page. If they get too hot they may brown, which will be even worse than your current problem.

Good Luck!

iron it...if that does not work consequently i dont think so.
