Answers: don't know why not, but if you want to control hard hose down i just run vinegar through mine, it's cheap. calcium build up is the contract killer of such applianes anything to slow or stop this expands it's life. i influence do it. my best.
I would not do it because you will vaporising the product and breathing it in. It is better to buy distilled sea. That way you enjoy no mineral problems.
