I was wondering, since you can use the rotozip bits beside a router, if you can use router bits with the rotozip?
Answers:    What are you planning to use it for? The solitary router bit you MIGHT be able to use near a Rotozip is a spiral cutter. These are the same as the sabre bit that Rotozip make anyway, so why would you? Zip bits are cheaper than router bits. If you want a small router type tool, look into a laminate trimmer. They can use 1/4" shank router bits. Hope this helps.

EDIT: My Rotozip come with both 1/8" and 1/4" collets, so conceptually i COULD use a router bit, but I wouldn't...
This would be dangerous and would not abandon acceptable results. Router bits depend on a yawning and stable base to produce repeatable cuts and/or shapes. Rotozips hold no appreciable base, incontestably none that a router bit would require.
