can i use 15mm pushfit pipe to fit central heat in my flat. if so which pipe is it best to use or are they adjectives standard, thanks
Yes you can, follow Martins advice on the rating of the pipe though and be sure to use sleeves when joining otherwise they will pop stale under pressure
Yes you can.
I be told by our local plumber that the piping itself won't last as long as copper piping and the joint on pushfit piping can degrade over time - but when I asked him why he used it for underfloor heat if he thought it wasn't robust enough, he basically shrugged his shoulders.
Anyway, if the difference is between it lasting 40 fairly than 50 years, I wouldn't worry too much more or less it.
I'd suggest you speak to your local plumbing outlet about the sizes etc you will obligation.
Answers: You can but gross sure the tube is rated for internal heating. routine push fit ,for hot and cold supplies will not do,as this will simply heat up and lose its shape. Go to Plumb Centre etc for the right stuff.
