please help i own a socket that fits the drill and flywheel nut of the chainsaw! NOW WHAT DO I DO?
Answers: Not only is it not not detrimental it probably won't work. First the drill may not have adequate power to turn the engine and second it won't turn it fast ample to start it. You have to spin the engine at give or take a few 250 rpm to get plenty spark to start the engine. Fix the starter and do a tune up on the engine. It will work better and be safer.
Forget the drill. Use the pull cord. If you can not start it that path, you are not strong enough to undamagingly operate it anyway.
