Can I regulation my pool (sand ) filter tagelus to a sta rite DE filter, next to out a unbroken lot of plumbing issues?

Answers:    yes, I had a DE filter on my pool last year and a moment ago changed over to a sand filter.

You may need to buy a new pump if your unknown sand filter is not compatible with your existing pump.

I went on e creek and got a Hayward pump and filter brand new for smaller quantity than $400. If you don't want to e bay that is fine but I would suggest you buy the entire pump and filter sustem together. That style everything you need will be in the box!

You may also want to consider varying just the media...is sounds close to you are trying to get better filtration-if you are using silica sand,there are far better filter medium available: http://www.swimming-pool-information.com...
