I don't have the time or money to repeat the bathroom. But the pink tiles are an eyesore to me. I would like close to a dark blue (perhaps).

Can this be done? Is here a special paint for this?
Good news! They can be painted.Bad word.If you've never painted ceramic tile past it can be real messy.1)Tile must be thoroughly deglazed (either by chemical or by hand) consequently a special costly ceramic paint must must be applied and allowed to fully cure since any water can contact it,as contained by a shower.Beware!!!If you accidentally scratch wall, inscribe will be ugly pink tile that you enjoy now.Seek a professional for a free estimate. It may be cheaper than you reckon.Good luck

You can paint it. The problem is getting the paint to stick over the long haul. The glazed surface of the tile make paint adhesion a challenge. Some relations report success by abraiding the tile but most sandpaper and similar agents do a poor assignment of surface abraiding.

Check with a reputable paint purveyor and see if they have any products that will ultimate over the long term.

I would be particularly reluctant to paint over ceraminc.
Answers:    Yes, it can be done.
If it is the shiny type tile, you will have to roughen it up so that the paint ahere's to it.
After sculpture make sure you stamp it with a clear coat.

Honestly, doing it this approach, is very time consuming, and may not be as cost restructured.
Check your local home improvement store for the materials and ask for further facilitate.
