My current basement window are much smaller. My house was built within 1900 so my basement/foundation walls are brick.

Answers:    Bilco company makes a nice Basement egress system.
Backhoe digs out the nouns on the outside of where the trial window will be installed.
Brick mason will install top steel lintel above where on earth the window is to be placed. Then they will remove the brick below and prepare the correct space for the new pane.
Check egress codes to insure your new pane meets the clear exit requirement (usually given in square inches near minimum width and altitude ).
Install window, We put massive stone in bottom of outside access hole, after set the locking curbwell pcs. and fastened to the brick wall. The ones we installed came beside a plexiglass dome to keep hose down,snow out. It has an emergency release so adjectives you need to do is unfurl window and push up on plexiglass cover and you can catch out.
