Can anybody serve me near a small plumbing situation? After I flush my modern toilet, the hose keep running.? the ballast mechanism - the float point -needs adjusted somehow -...

the ballast mechanism - the float point -needs adjusted somehow - if I verbs up on it just a tad, consequently the water flow stops as ordinary. This just started "happening" out of nowhere (the toilet and house is newly three years old). The float mechanism is plastic attached to a metal rod which attaches at its appendage to a plastic gizmo. There are several screws on top...

Any clues?
All you stipulation to do is adjust the screw on top of the float rod. Turn it slowlly counterclockwise and the bubble will raise up to adjust the wet level, newly don't go above the tube, an inch below the top of the tube should do it. Hope this help

Maybe the reason it stops when you verbs up is that the float reaches the point at which it is supposed to turn the tap off, it's of late happening beside your help.

I would guess that the rubber stopper/flapper is leak because the piece which drops into the drainhole is damaged or corroded.
Answers:    The metal rod have a piece that slides on it slide it down
