cause an increase (almost quadruple) surrounded by my usage. The leak is prior to my meter, but is surrounded by the line that lead soley to my home. My usage increased almost four times for the period of one month. The house is unpopulated, heat is set to 50 degree to prevent pipe bursting in the home. There own been no open doors/windows for several months. Temperature has dropped some, but not significantly from previous month. What I would approaching to know is, is it possible for a gas leak in recent times prior to the meter to affect the meter reading?
