One of the halogen lights in the track lighting within my kitchen just "bursted" sometime. Shattered glass everywhere. What happen? Was it because I had put surrounded by a halogen bulb that exceeded th wattage limit? Or be it because I had not installed the other three halogen bulbs? I'm afraid to use this lighting, so presently I cook in the menacing.
Answers: I would go next to the fact that the wattage be too high... Gets excessively hot, some ballasts will shut down when they procure to hot, obviously this one continued to distribute power. Go ahead and get unknown bulbs that dont exceed that maximum wattage and you should be fine. The missing bulbs should not have cause a problem, but I would guess it depends on if it were wired correctly and how infirm it was, anythings possible. It does enjoy three bulbs for a reason put within lower wattage bulbs if necesary rather than one over power bulb
These bulbs are underneath high pressure and have need of care when installing. It may own had a small chisel on it that could have done this when it heated up, replacing them you should use a small verbs cloth because body oil can also shorten their life span.
