Today, ive been playing CoD4 on ps3, and been told by my mom to plug the iron surrounded by.
Of course, it doesnt end here, i plugged it in and moved out it lying heat plate to the floor ... (typical me)
Now, ive left it nearby for 5 whole mins, and would have vanished it for more if my mom didnt come in and stop me from playing ...
The burn is hmmm... pretty deep, and i dont want to cut out any patch from the carpet (renting the house, great) is there any method to make it at least better? please assist :S
Thanks :S
Are there perhaps carpeted closets? If so, you might be capable of get a patch from a rather invisible place.
I don't reflect you can fix this without patching.
I hold resolved this problem for customers on many occasions., but in attendance is no guarantee the fix will look great. The less wear the carpet have the better the fix will be. You will need a piece of carpet from somewhere else, this could be a bit not here over, or a cupboard area e.t.c.. Find your local carpet fitter at the pay for of a local newspaper. Tell the fitter you will need a go in where a burn mark sits. It will probably cost you lb35+, and near is no guarantee it won't stand out. Sometimes its best to give it a try, other times its false economy, have the carpet got signs of wear (i.e. a year matured, or in a heavily walked surrounded by area), if so you'd be better off letting the landlord know and not try fixing it. He/she may not be bothered. erm...oh dear... here isn't anything you can do except cover it strategically with furniture, a rug, a pair of dirty pant, a magazine etc..
Answers: Small burns work well if you rub a coin over the carpet bit.
But this sounds much worse. Poor you.
cut a potato in partially and rub over burn, has worked for me run
