1987 Prowler travel trailer. Original roof a/c. Fan has be replaced. Smelled an odor of burning wood coming from the a/c. Have been using porthole a/c until I can get it fixed. What could be cause it?
Answers: compressor wires could be getting hot. sign of a compressor on its way out.
turn on your ac for a bit til you smell it, consequently shut it off. attain up on the roof and let your antenna be the judge. if at hand s something smoldering, you ll find it. just dont be using your hand bc theres some things in near that can bite you in in attendance
Hard to tell exactly where on earth the smell is coming from without man there, but I can share you where in attendance is a burning smell, there is usually burning. Do NOT use the roof nouns until you have have it checked out by someone who knows what they are doing. A travel trailer will totally burn to the frame within about 7 minutes. I enjoy seen them burn and they move about quickly.
