Building a home, underground room ask? im planning on building a new home and i approaching to do...

im planning on building a new home and i approaching to do things a bit difrent. insted of doing a standard two storie home i was thinking is it posable to enjoy 2 levels of vault? i was thinking of have the first portion only speak half baired so here would still be windows, if difficult then majority. but then own another level of basment below that. the property im going to be building on is okay above the water table and have a good slope for marine run off so im not oscillate conserned about flooding. is in that anything else i should be conserned about?

Answers:    Well if you are concidering going deeper than regular, you need to verbs about structure issues. If going surrounded by deeper the supporting concrete walls need to be a thicker measuring device, and of course that's going to be costly. Talk to a reputable contractor. I am an Interior Designer and worked near some contractors, they will be able to report you what issues you can run across. I don't think that it would be a amazingly good thought. Not that it's not a neat thought, just the money and risks that are involved. Good luck!!

A immensely inportant thing is cheak for mold it will be amazingly DAMP DOWN THERE. Cheak the walls every once in a while though. Otherwise flawless luck!!!
