We have a cooker which comprises of a most important oven, a top oven/grill and four hobs on top. we just turned the oven on to cook dinner and something shorted out adjectives the other electrical appliances in the house except the lights. When we turned the trip switch subsidise on the cooker seemed ok at first but in a minute we discover it won't heat up. It's a admirer assisted oven and makes the right hubbub and the light at the front comes on to say-so it's heating up but the oven itself purely doesn't heat up. The grill and hobs work fine.
Does anyone know what the problem might be and how it can be fixed?
Is it probable to be a blown fuse? Or are we looking at having to buy a trial cooker?
Please help if you can. Thank you.
Answers:    The heat element contained by the main oven have failed. In failing, it cause a short circuit to earth, which be what tripped your circuit breaker. The earth breakdown cleared, but the element is still broken. There is probably a marked hole in the shield of the element (do not touch it while the oven is connected to the D, though).

The heating thing is easy for a trained manufacture to replace. All is not lost.

Hope this helps.
heat element is shot . It should enjoy two screws you can cart off beside the oven off unsurprisingly and two insulated prong connections to slide off. Take it to Lowe's or any appliance supply and go and get replacement element and reinstall.
