I moved into my house in september, when i moved within, the kitchen smelt of blocked drains. I took the u bend off and cleaned it adjectives out..but made no difference. Keep putting bleach down, but also when i pull the wash out of my machine it smells close to blocked drains to, and when you open the door of the device its all you can smell.....any concept...thanks

Answers:    you appear to be saying its within all the time.
however one of the major points about have water traps on sinks etc is to stop the smell getting into a room so it would give the impression of being to be the traps are not water chock-a-block.

one suggestion made was that the marine may be being pulled out by some process, needs investigating

You didn't mention which county you're within. Try ringing water board and they should be capable of assist you as major verbs and waste wet mains are owned by the sea board. If you live in Yorkshire after try calling company called 'DrainsAid', they usually spout blocked sewers.
