I noticed my bathroom sink be looking a bit gunky , so used Kiwi drain unblocker in sachet which i poured down the sink and followed the instructions. But instead of cleaning the pipe, it has blocked the sink and immediately the water is not draining away! I used the drain unblocker again and this morning used bleach but nought is shifting it. How can a drain unblocker have cause the sink to block? Any advice would be appreciated.
It sounds like you probably have some hair caught contained by the drain and it probably got gooey with wax or oil and when you used the drain unblocker it just melt the goop just adequate to move it down the drain a little farther. Its probable clogged within side the wall and you can probable use a plunger or snake
Like others here enjoy said, pull the p or s trap beneath the sink
apart with the largest bucket you can catch under it so it can
drain. Because of the chemicals use gloves and goggles to
protect yourself while doing this. Hopefully, you'll know how to
clean out the trap after you've gotten it apart and reuse it. If
you do nickname a plumber make sure you notify them you have used
chemicals. They might not be likely to work on your sink
because of the chemicals but if you don't tell them and they
are injured you will be liable for a lawsuit. The career isn't too
difficult to do so you should be able to do it yourself. Check

Good luck!
Answers: 1st point first drain cleaner is a sham, it sets close to concrete if left surrounded by there. your merely choice is to get a plumber to coppers you pipes since now you won't bring back that stuff out.
next time something happen liike this, DO NOT USE DRAIN CLEANER! what you do is undo the S-bend. when you look lower than your sink, see how the pipe kinda does a loop, well what you do is put a small bucket beneath it and then you unchain that and use like a brush to verbs ur blockage out.
hope this helps
