Okay, the bathroom tiles have be up for twently odd years and the grouting around the tub is going totally black. I have tried cleaning beside neat bleach ( using a toothbrush ) but near are places that the bleach is having little effect. Any suggestions please as to an important alternative cleaner and what can i do to inhibit regrowth etc ...... thanks!
A lot of the time when you have mould surrounded by your bathroom it's not just on the surface. It starts inside the grouting and grows out to the surface, so you need a herbicide to go and get rid of it, as it is, in effect, a plant. Just scrub the surface with some sort of cleaner will achieve rid of it for a short time, but it will other grow back if you do that.
I haven't a clue what its called by saw a grouting pen surrounded by the mags that come with the sunday papers, this weekend freshly gone ~ maybe do a seach on google for one of them ~ claims to turn grout brilliant white !!!
found this whilst looking for the grouting pen
This month's dilemma:
How do I verbs the grout on my kitchen and bathroom tiles?

Solutions:
If the grout is sealed, nearby is a product called grout and tile cleaner by Tile Lab which is sold at Home Depot. This is one of the better ones (I own tried them all). If it is not sealed, the best and inxepensive instrument is Clorox clean-up; spray, let it sit a few minutes and after scrub with a grout brush and dust off. Then try thinking nearly sealing the grout so you don't hold to clean it as habitually. -- L. Prophete
I use OxyClean and a grout brush. It takes a while, but it works. Just spray the grout beside water and consequently pour a small amount of OxyClean onto it to make a mash. Then scrub and wipe away. Hope it helps! --Alaina, Missouri
Assuming the grout is contained by good condition and simply requests cleaning, I have found these two products most willing to help even with most difficult and dirty mildew---Tilex and Clorox Clean-Up. Several applications may be required, but it get the job done. --Jackie, Illinois
Suggestion: You can use oven cleaner, beside rubber gloves and good exposure to air. Bend sandpaper to scrub the grout. Be careful not to cut into the tile. Or, you can use a tooth brush dipped into undiluted vinegar to scrub away the dinginess. -- Kim, GeorgiaName: Trisha Iowa
Clorox bleach pen if the grout is white. Peroxide and baking soda also works really well. -- Trisha, Iowa.
My mother used to use ZUD powder years ago. I have not been competent to find it in stores for several years. Last year I found ZUD contained by liquid form at Meijers. It works really great on the 50- year-old tub grout in my house. It take a little time and an feeble toothbrush. -- Ginny, Michigan.
EDIT user 452's answer sounds a lot smaller number like concrete work lol
Answers: Mould spray made by HG is fantastic, spray it on and 10 mins following it has adjectives gone. It STINKS though! open adjectives the windows and doors , I thought I be going to have to retile my bathroom because it be so bad within my house when I moved in .
