there is some mold within my bathroom's window sill, and it is black. how do i communicate if it is the toxic black mold i hear so often around, what do i do if it is?
Answers: Is it just somewhat bit? You know, if its just a short time, I'd just bleach the crap out of it, and not verbs. A tiny bit- toxic or not, isnt going to hurt you, as long as you clean it up, and fix the skylight so it doesnt leak. You'll want to take home sure that it hasnt been getting within, down the inside of your drywall as well, if in that is a whole bunch on the inside of your drywall, it could be a bigger problem. Bleach will shoot mold though! Quick and easy! If you really want to know if its toxic, and want to enjoy ti professionally done, then call for a Mold company. There should be plenty of them in your local washed out pages. Be warn though- the testing is expensive, and the cleanup is a unharmed lot more- you'll likely ruin up paying thousands for something a small bottle of bleach could take charge of if its just a small problem!
If it is on a wood glass sill just verbs it off near a strong bleach solution or tilex type mold remover solution. if it is present on your plaster or wall board then you hold a bigger issue. Usually the mold/mildew you see in a bathroom environment is due to the moisture weighted down air and not wet infiltration through the wall or crawl space. The only channel to really know for sure is to pay a lab to question paper it. If you are not having respiratory issues consequently you probably don't need to step to the expense of testing. Just run the exhaust hanger-on in your tub and try to keep it verbs and dry.
