Answers: I just have granite installed in my condo. My neighbour (old Sicilian tile setter) convinced me that marble would not be a honest choice as it is softer, scratches effortlessly and is difficult to up keep. If the individual two choices are marble or vitrified tile, I'd go next to tile. I've got tile surrounded by the foyer in my home and after 20 years it still looks resembling the day I installed it.
the best between these two is marble beside respect to all aspects. but i intuitively prefer granite than these two. check it out and try. compare with polished marble n granite. and see for urself.
