Do lightbulbs last longer if you quit them on or if you turn them on only when you obligation them? I think I hear that the on-and-off causes problems beside the filament in the bulb.
Answers:    On and rotten is better.
all hurricane lantern bulbs have an expected time on the box. by turning it off, the funds on electricity should more than make up for the cost of the bulb. better bet is to budge with a CFL and your vivacity saving will more than wages for the bulb over the life of the bulb. getting rear legs to your question. a wispy bulb would probably last longer if it is disappeared burning. supposedly there is a pallid bulb in a San Francisco fire house that have been burning for over 75 years....i would can`t bear to be the one who has to income the electric bill though
