Best Setting for a Gas Water Heater? My wife & I had a bright 50 gallon gas water boiler...

My wife & I had a bright 50 gallon gas water boiler installed in our home, but we occasionally run out of hot marine, especially when we take exceedingly long showers or have guests contained by our house who also use the showers. Can we minimize this problem by setting the water stove to a hotter setting? My thinking is that if the water is hotter, it will bear less of it to mix beside the cold water to produce dampen of a given temperature to use surrounded by the shower, and thus the hot water will end longer. Is my reasoning correct?
Answers:    Here's another suggestion to think more or less.

You could install a water restricter device onto your shower leader, if you don't already have one in attendance.

Also, another thought. If you have a newborn or a young child surrounded by your household, the hot water thermostat should NOT be set any complex than 120 degrees...Trust me it is not locked!

The reasoning is correct, but the results will be miniscule. I believe the target temperature for hot hose down is 120-160 degrees. Turning up the thermostat on you WH will also increase your gas bill. You should consider staggering your showers two hours apart.
