I have a Baxi boiler that be supposedly faulty due to a pump problem, the eingineer come out to look and replaced the pump. When the job be finished he turned on the boiler and found that there be still no water. He moved out the boiler on which was heat nothing but the boiler internals. The swing then go to the tank and stuck some sort of pole down the pipe and found at hand was a blockage, he poked the pipe through the block which within turn let the dampen through to the boiler. As you can imagine by this time the boiler be roasting with no sea in it and as soon as the river got through it burst something and come shooting out the front of the boiler. I have be told that when the new pump is fitted he should own bled the system allowing water to carry round the internals of the boiler before ignite it. Before this happened at hand were no problems next to the boiler leaking or anything else untoward. The company are in a minute saying that the fautly pump cause the damage to the boiler?
In my judgment this problem was cause via a blockage in the cold nurture to the heating system from the nurture and expansion tank.
The pump may ably have adjectives out due to the fact that the system have no water surrounded by it but yes you are correct after the pump was fitted the cook up should have carried out a full series of checks firstly and most importantly that in that was hose in the system.
Then he should enjoy carried out a full heat interview to prove you had circulation and adjectives the radiators had steam.
It is my conclusion based on your statement that the plumber possibly wasnt as thorough within his initial diagnosis. Hope this helps.
the pump is external and the system does not have to be drained to fit a investigational one
there is a turn past its sell-by date valve on any side of the pump for this reason
and when the pump is fitted the valve are just turned support on ..the blockage is the problem ..also the get was at show disapproval for leaving the boiler on while he looked for the blockage
PS the pump would own been boisterous if at fault
no passageway. He got the boiler running too hot minus water / than introduced cold hose and cracked the castings. This is 100% the servicepersons fault. Accidents come to pass but he has to sleep at darkness too. This company should work with you. If not report them to B.B.B.

Hmm, anything to procure out of paying.
Right. After the new pump be installed it is very noteworthy to get the atmosphere out of the system. what happens when the brakes on a saloon have nouns in them? they don't work. If nearby is air within the system it has to sit somewhere in it and it's usually in the one place it get pumped to I.E. the boiler. the air would only just get trapped in the pump or elsewhere within the boiler and newly sit there until the pressure built up sufficiently to produce pipes to burst. The fact that the guy didn't allow the boiler to cool down formerly allowing the water to circulate would hold also contributed to the burst.
Send a letter to the company stating that you intend on getting a second view and you intend on suing for the damage cause plus the cost of the second opinion. You'll find they'll remuneration up. Especially if they find what the other engineer did cause the problem. If not you will then own grounds for to take them to a small claims court.
You could also report the problem to trading standards and permit them know what you intend to do. They will give you some warning and recommend which service engineers to use as your second opinion.
Answers:    The blocked pipe will hold been the cold nurture,as there be no water contained by the boiler the heat from the burner have melted the gasket trademark on the heat exchanger. This is no ones condemn,it does happen. Its a pretty straight forward livelihood to renew the seal, dont tolerate them fob you off by recitation you the boiler is done or the heat exchanger wishes renewed.
