We are buying a house in Boardman Ohio. Our buyers agent go in saturday morning and looked at it for us. (we cant be in motion because we live 1000 miles away) Anyways everything but one thing be fine and dandy. When she wwent down to the basement in that were small wet puddles in the corners of the crypt, no musky smell though. The house has beenr enovated basically last year and have been sitting bare for some times if this helps any. What could it be and how to combat te situation. and no we havent closed on it nonetheless, we only buy when the owner take care of this problem.
Answers: Water surrounded by the basement is not appropriate. If the house has simply been renovated i would grill what work has be done and the quality of that work. There are alot of things that can make happen water surrounded by a basement none of them are devout. Don't buy the home without seeing it contained by person yourself and have a professional home inspection.
is your basement fixed up? Otherwise--- every crypt I've lived in have had for a while water surrounded by the corner - sounds like some outside work around the house wants to be done.
