My sump stopped. Basement has roughly foot of water. Both my dampen heater/heater pilots submerged.
Do I need to shut bad all power formerly I go down nearby to try and replace sump? Will my heater/water heater be destroyed?
I don't want to achieve electrocuted.
Answers: Best idea would be to wipe out power at circuit breaker to your waterheater and heat exchange.
You may want to buy/rent a portable wet pump and run it down there beside an extension cord and get some of that hose down out before you do any work.
It shouldnt wreck your appliances though, simply make sure they are thorougly dried, and try to verbs the crap out of the pilots before you relight them.
yeah, in the past you kill yourself.
