Some guy told me that this sink I have (it's similar to a white hard surface, not metal) can't manipulate hot objects like stuff that comes from the stove and can't toy with a sink full of dishes and water. Seems species of dumb to ask this but the heat article seems more plausible. Can you put hot objects surrounded by it?

Answers:    The sink must be some kind of plastic or polymer, when you heat up the sink with hot river and the dump a bunch of cold water contained by it might crack or break, if you get it hot near a pot it might warp or melt. check near the manufacturer on adjectives the info for the sink.
