The copper tubing in to my river heater have developed a leak. It looks approaching just a simple stripe with screw threads attaching to my cutoff spout and to the top of the water electric fire.

I've never played with wet heaters before, so I want to double check if near are any special considerations I need to kind other than wrapping the thread contained by teflon tape? Quick answers would be appreciated; I'd resembling to get to Home Depot tonight, and shower surrounded by the morning!
Answers:    You need to hold a way to unturn the spout, look for a union fitting above the tap and loosen that. The union fitting looks close to a nut and two fittings on either side. Check at HD to see how they come apart If you can, acquire a flex line to the radiator, it will give you more option.
