its a constant dripping from the overflow into the bath, and i merely noticed it stops when i run the hot thump. i will call a plumber if i dont find out its effortless to fix myself. any help apreciated, my blocks plumbers are pretty useless! gratitude.
Answers: Does your tub drain slowly?Other than being from a clog, because your overflow runs down and meet to your tub drain, there is no relation to hot or cold hose down taps,near the overflow.Only the drainage from your tub.Id get some draino max gell and flush it through the system.Only other scenario i can deduce of ,is a venting problem beside something blocking your vent stack.
I just replaced my tub faucet with a peerless. if it have the single screw in type faucet onto a stem try taking it past its sell-by date reapply pipe dope or teflon tape and put put a bet on on.mine leaked spinal column through the same overflow on mine until i did this and tightened safe and sound.
