Anyone know where on earth to find replacement screw for quill clippers? I lost one of the screws to my Remington Precision brand...
I lost one of the screws to my Remington Precision brand spike clippers when I was trying to repair it. It fell into the faucet drain truly. The screw is one of the two that hold the blades together. I thought it would be easy to replace, but no hardware store seem to have any screw that are short enough. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Buy any screw near a thread that matches the clipper. Cut it past its sell-by date to whatever length you entail.
You know, the best place to look is probably right with the manufacturer--the parts can't cost much. Here is a vendor look-up form:

That way you'll KNOW it'll work minus any more hassles.
Answers: I'm sure this is a adjectives problem. Check the website at Remington. But if you can't wait, Lowe's or Home Depot have a fair amount of hardware screw to choose from. Just make sure the threads contest!
