Any ever have a 9 volt freestyle explode?
I was sitting here watching t.v., then 'BANG!'. I couldn't amount it out, but then my fire detcetor started beep. The 9 volt inside of it just popped. The bottem be sticking out of the battery. It be a fairly untried battery, it be only surrounded by there perchance a month. Anyone else every had this occur?

This can happen if the terminal of the battery seize short-circuited. I've never had them explode, but own had them capture very hot. I would replace the smoke detector.
catch a new smoke detector you don't want to enjoy a fire they say that they obligation to be replaced after 10years.
