Hello... I recently hear that you can remove the aluminum siding on your house and sell it as shaving metal. The money you make from that would almost rate for a professional to install vinyl siding.....

Answers: No way. I work next to aluminum building products and we recycle our scrap a few times a month. The prices right immediately in California are around 55 to 60 cents a pound. And aluminum siding is pale weight.
sliver aluminum is around $1/# but not sure it is going to pay to do what you suggest.
remember your vinyl trim costs are almost as much as the siding itself.
