I have a bore container that holds what from a bore well which have a high salinity/mineral content. The hose is used only for toilets contained by my house. I have newly discovered that I have an algae bloom contained by the tank which is cause a terrible odour. Are at hand any home treatments that I can use to kill the algae? Preferably lacking causing problems surrounded by my septic system.
Answers: if you don't want to use chemicals to get rid of the algae, Then best to completely cover the reservoir so no sunlight is getting in. Algae wishes sunlight. Good luck
Rather than post this type of question here, it might be better to phone a river treatment company specializing in this type of work.
