we live in a condo , ive be here for 9 years , mycentral air whent out and the repair man said its going to cst 3,000 to fix but surrounded by my warranty book it says adjectives parts and the cenral air is covered for 10 yrs . the woman that rund sthe place said im going to get a fine if i put our reguler skylight air condioners within what should i do its in the by law no satalitte dishes and nothing nearly window nouns condioners . i called the advocate again this year he wants three hundred dollars for a retainer charge please help

usually parts will be covered by warranty and you would only repay for labor. if you have individual had it 9 years and it is covered for 10 within the warranty the warranty should be honored. also call around because 3000 dollars is WAY too much. you can go and get a whole brand current unit installed for probably 1700 to 2000 at the most depending on size. appointment the warranty company and bug them constantly. do not pay anyone 3000 bucks to correction your ac unit. you are dealing beside a con artist who is trying to make snatched cash from someone who doesnt know any better. hope this help you out
