Regarding my home air conditioning component, I can hear it turn on, air comes out of the vent in my home (possibly not as much as usual), but the supporter is not spinning. When i noticed this, i turned it bad immediately, so as not to burn out the motor.
I am trying to decrease down the problem. As I said, something attempts to kick on as I can see the element move, but the fan does not spin.
Something I should make a payment: It worked last summer, afterwards over the winter I installed a digital thermostat to replace the old non-digital model. It is a possibility i didn't hook up the wires correctly, but the grill works fine. This is the first time i attempted to use the a/c. (But you would think the a/c wouldn't even see on if the wiring be incorrect)
I had this problem finishing year and they ended up replacing the admirer.
First: Turn bad all power to section, Inside and outside as some control voltage will be coming from inside the house to outside.
Looks to me that your fan motor is fruitless. Remove motor and capacitor. (Mark all lead to where they go) clutch to local parts place and have them to try it for you. (may cost you $10.00 or so for test). They should know how to sell you trial motor and capacitor. If color code on motor is different be sure they show you correct wires to use as yours were discoloured..
Answers: Try to spin the fan when you turn it on and see if it catch. It sounds as if the capacitor could be bad.
