I am planning to a buy a window ac section. I have calculated that I will entail an ac unit dexterous of producing 9030 btu's. However, I can I only find unit for 8000 or 10000. I've read about the inefficiences of getting a part too small or too big. But how big is too big? The differerce is under 1000 btu. Would the 10000 btu ac component be too big or would it not matter?
Answers: It's allways better to buy an A.C. to be exact a little larger than needed.You won't hold to run it at it's highest setting,which will squirrel away on your energy consumption
10,000 BTU is fine, it wont engender a difference
