I live in a condo and my proprietor requires me to do my maintenance myself and bill him. I hold central nouns and have pretty much have it running all the time trying to draw from my place to cool down.

I have it on "on," substance constantly running and the temperature set at 68. it's quality of an older thermostat, i regard as. this is my first place and i'm kind of clueless. it's manifestly not 68 degrees contained by my place... especially on the top floor. something isn't working right.

any help is appreciated! what should i do? what should i look at to see if there's problems?

Your proprietor is responsible for repairs period not you. Make his *** hail as a repair man. I had a 70's model GE thermostat and it never worked right. The nouns conditioning system was outdated and be always screwed up. My hotelier had to replace the inside element in the hvac room and the outside part along with the thermostat.

if all rooms are on beside air cons and is still not cool as expected, u hold to do maintenence on your compressor. That is, u need servicing as ur coolant marine is probably out, or there may be a ooze or something.

Make sure u clean ur filter at least once every 2 weeks too.

Answers:    First entity to do is check your filters and clear sure they are clean. They with the sole purpose last around a month or two anyways. Make sure all you vent are open and are not blocked. You can check your ac component outside and make sure it is clear of any leaves or brush.
