Air Conditioner have trouble reaching desired tempearture? My air conditioner is set at 75 degree but on days...
My air conditioner is set at 75 degree but on days that its above 95 outside it can get as heat up as 78 on thermostat and the air will run adjectives day and the house is cold. I enjoy had it checked out and not a soul seems to know the problem. I do hold a new thermostat
Answers: Sounds as if the thermostat is not surrounded by a good file for the return air to hit it. It should be installed close to a return nouns vent, so that it senses the temp of the air as it is return the heavens to the system.
If the stat is in a room where on earth there is no return nouns vent could be your problem.
Let me know if this applies.
I have mine set for 70 degree. It is 95 here and the unit is working fine. It runs adjectives day. That's only just the way it is. My component is new. It shuts down properly at dark. If you live way down south resembling me and Dino you would know the unit is newly gonna run run run. You need to set you thermostat for 70 and set out it there. When the humidity is gone from the house and the furnishings are down to around 70 next the unit will shut down. Running it on 75 never give the house a chance to cool past its sell-by date. Anybody that tells you 78 is a upright setting for a central nouns has never lived contained by Florida.
