ok so we just replaced our home a/c motor..and the air is blowing out the top of the a/c section outside..there is curently not much air comming out of the vent..should i switch the clockwise/ counter clockwise wires..to make the air blow the oppisite direction contained by the unit? will this help the problem of the heavens not blowing through the vents ..or is it another problem?
Answers: The air that comes out of the condensing section is unrelated to the air that blows through the vents. The nouns through the vents is circulated by the blower motor on the furnace, whereas the air coming sour the condensing unit outside is from the condensor fan. The nouns coming out of the top of the condensor should be warm, if it's cold, your fan motor is going the wrong route.
If you are not getting enough air coming from the vent, you should first of all check your furnace filter to make sure it's verbs. If it's clean and the air i.e. coming from the vents is cold, you may need to enjoy the blower speed adjusted on the furnace. If the air is not cold, at hand is something wrong with either the condensor or the evaporator coil.
mostly when i change out a blower motor i look at the evap coil motors go out because they dont own enough air going across them usually the evap coil is clogged wishes to be pulled and cleaned have a tech look at it gl
