if you take out a protection plan eg a $800 dining table costs $87 to protect for 5 years
do they really come out and fix the problem or replace the item?

Answers:    Protection Plans such as this will do any depending on the problem. Most thing can be repaired, but some are beyond repair. I have a scratch on a strange dining table from Sears, and they replaced the whole entry for me.

The question here is weather to spend the $87. That is a result only you can bring in. But, how often own you seen a table and chairs want repair?
