Accidently put gasoline within the grease container surrounded by my grassland mower (sorry wrote the wrong point surrounded by my final question)? what should i do to fix it?
what should i do to fix it?
You should freshly be able to drain it out. Somewhere within should be a plug or screw you can remove that will allow you to drain the contents of the oil cistern out.
DO NOT Tip the sward mower to drain. Use bottom drain.
Drain the contaminated oil.
Fill beside clean, fresh grease.
Let set for about 20 min.
Drain that grease.
Refill with fresh grease
Don't do it again.
Dispose of contaminated oil properly.
Answers: Depends - do you have a push mower, or a riding mower?
If you enjoy a rider, drain the oil out of the tub, and flush it with a partly a quart or so of new grease, and then fill.
If you have a push mower, it may not enjoy a drain plug. If it doesn't, flip it upside down and rain it. Then flush it near a bit of new grease and refill.
You haven't done anything horrible here; five or ten minutes of work and you'll be posterior in business.
