We have not long moved house and there is an accenta 6 alarm fitted,the frail owner didnt leave any details including the code!! we have to turn the mains power rotten to the house and now when we turn it put a bet on on the alarm keeps going past its sell-by date!! is there anyone out in attendance that knows how to de-activate the alarm and conversion the code without need the old code? Answers: hi, im an alarm tech. the problem is, if in attendance were a rear door to do what you want, anyone who ever worked in the alarm biz and turned criminal could access your home. the solution to your problem is own a pro replace the system's control panel which is the brain. just turning bad the power won't take the system out of alarm and as long as it is contained by alarm, no technician will be able to access it even if the tech who installed it have a lockout code. if your system does have a path to get within even in an alarmed state, i would consider a unmarked alarm system. however, if you don't want the alarm to be attached to the home anymore i can tell you how to dismantle it. every alarm have a transformer plug in an outlet somewhere and also a backup mobile. the transformer will be plugged into an outlet somewhere in the home or attached garage. you must unplug the transformer and later find the control panel which may be in the garage or a closet. it is a metal box that contains a freestyle backup and you must undo the battery-operated leads, they are red and black a moment ago like jersey cables for a saloon. undoing both of these power supplies will kill the alarm .
