a couple months ago we had a HUGE rainstorm, it rain for like 3 weeks, everything flooded. our house is pyrim(sp?) floor joist, and water didnt gain anywhere near as large as our house. we noticed our floors beside linolium were soft within the bathroom, and in the kitchen, it be bubbling and pulling up. we assumed it was from the huge amount of moisture in the atmosphere. lastnight however, i noticed when i changed the atmosphere filter that our ac was leak on our subflooring. i think its lately a crack and im waiting on the husband to get home to fix it. do you surmise this is the cause of our soft blistering floors? i do. but wanted a inference. also, would this dry up over time? or do we have to rip up floor adjectives over our house we have lived smaller amount than a year in? consequently i started to think just about mold.... would it mold? what can i do to prevent mold? what can be done ? i will call insurance this subsequent week, dont think im a complete dumbass, lately wanting to know what everyone here thinks and if they hold any suggestions
Answers: The condensate drain may be plugged up or the ac drain pan could be cracked. That s probably what cause the flooring problems. It will dry up after you fix the ac drain but it is possible that there is mold. To prevent mold you enjoy to get rid of the moisture. For more info, check out the heavens quality page at my source.
stick a small spare metal drip pan underneath. You can also buy sensors that you can put surrounded by the pan, that will turn off if hose down starts to rise in the tub. this is assuming you can fix the crack.
