I I have a Trane XL 1200 Ac / Heat pump with a unfixed speed air handler. It was 10 years outdated in January. It is starting to die as we speak, but will probably limp along for an other year or two. (I hope).

Anyway, I live within a two story, approx. 2100 sq ft heated area home in Florida. What should I be looking at to replace my entire system (A/C component / heat pump and air handler, smaller number vent work)? When I had my house built, this was the top of the string I could get at the time.

What would be a comparable system in today¡¯s seer numbers and what is a neutral and reasonable cost for parts and install of the unit, total??
