Above ground pool videotape filter returning green marine? When I hook up the vacuum on my Intex above ground pool,...
When I hook up the vacuum on my Intex above ground pool, as i'm trying to vacuum the algae from the bottom, it is just as quickly person sent back in through the return. I enjoy replaced that filter cartridge, and it still does this. Before I can get partly wat through vacuuming it, the water is too cloudy to see the bottom. Before I start vacuuming, the water is clear and adjectives the green/brown is on the bottom. Why is the green crud coming back in through the return?
try a cloth type cartridge instead of a dissertation cartridge or get a bigger sand filter..the filter may be too small to feel the debris..heres a page with sand filter (the easiest option for homeowners) : http://www.swimming-pool-information.com... yeap your system sucks spend the money for a good sand system and pump you will efficiently save money on chemicals and therapist bills a great sand system can be beneath 600 bucks and last for 10 years with little maint
You need to vacuum to spend in dribs and drabs , your vacuuming it right back into the pool because you have not switched the bypass to debris.(You still have the bypass on the filter setting)
Ofcoarse after you vacuum the sediment to waste you might hold to add some more water to the pool.(Depends how swift you can finish the task)
Remember to backwash the pool every other day ,to help maintain the filter clean.
Answers: Just a suggestion. Walmart sell a $20 vacuum that hooks up to your water hose. It works awsome. They also sell this stuff call Shock It. Works good.
